We are able to say we are an Approved Electrical contractor - under the NICEIC, to conduct electrical safety checks in installations & repairs.
On commission of works, we carry out Risk Assements for the job, coupled with Method Statements for the work to be carried out, these are read, signed and dated by the electricians carrying out the works.
The electricians hold relevant training records, and testing qualifications in order for customers to satisfy their duty of care in engaging the Bright Spark team to carry out the work.
Our electrical services also include rewires, electrical testing, P.A.T. Testing, fault finding and external electrical installations, high level electrical lamp replacement, along with upgrades of lighting to Low Energy LED as well as common electrical problems.
At Bright Spark we don’t mind whether a light bulb needs changing in the ceiling / warehouse or your office needs rewiring, or maybe just a few more electrical sockets, we truly work on the principal that nothing is too big or small.
We work with businesses, landlords and care homes across our service area on both planned maintenance and larger installation projects. To help you schedule accordingly, here's where our diary currently sits:
Compliance & maintenance works (EICRs, PAT testing, fault finding) — typically 1–2 weeks.
Larger installations (rewires, three-phase, warehouse lighting, office fit-outs) — currently 3–6 weeks ahead.

Thank you for attending my “Emergency Call out” there was smoke coming out of my socket. I telephoned at least 15 electricians after 7:15pm (in the evening) when we discovered the smoke coming out of the Socket. Their phones not even being answered. The next on my list was Bright Sparks, who were the only ones to answer the call - literally within a couple of rings, and was answered by a lovely lady who reassured me that help would be on the way.
