These are often known or referred to as home buyer's surveys or landlord reports. We have extensive knowledge and experience of carrying out fixed wiring tests and the associated certification. The institute of Electrical Engineers recommends the following maximum time frames between inspections and testing:
A full electrical inspection should also be undertaken when a property is being prepared for letting or when selling or buying a property. Following an inspection, we can then issue an electrical condition report detailing any non-compliance with current regulations.
Any issues found will be delivered with codes to the potential problems:
Code 1 – Danger Present, risk of injury, immediate action required
Code 2 – Potentially Dangerous – Urgent remedial action required
Code 3 – Improvement recommended
We specialise in the installation, testing and on-going maintenance of fire alarms and emergency lighting in let properties, moreover we are fully conversant with local HMO requirements. In addition to key holding services offered to our customers we also provide our testing and maintenance services for commercial and domestic properties.

In addition to this, a carbon monoxide alarm must be fitted in every room with a solid fuel burning appliance – these appliances must be tested and working before the start of any new tenancy.

Thank you for sending us Phil to restore light to all corners of our home. Most agreeable and efficient gentleman who didn't flinch visibly at the dusty mysterious corners where ancient wires lay in ceiling space and appliances wired from the dark ages.
Terry did a nice job. More importantly my wife said, “He can come here any time.” Praise indeed!
We were very pleased with the recent electrical work which was carried out in a professional manner by your electrician and will certainly use your company again when future needs arise. Also I would be happy to recommend your services to any of our friends.
I live in a very old house with many different electrical systems. As a condition of my household insurance I had to have the house electrics upgrade to a modern standard. I engaged Bright Spark for the complex project. My experience of their service was that they are a highly professional company who completed the work on time and on budget. However, and just as importantly, the work was carried out with consideration and care, sadly a rare occurrence in today's society. I have no hesitation in recommending Bright Spark to my friends.
The two guys from Bright Sparks arrived promptly as arranged. Took their outdoor boots off before making their way to the job - a nice touch . Efficient, pleasant; I could not have asked for more. When the invoice arrived I was also pleasantly surprised. Overall a good experience 10/10
